This post is not related about online marketing but I know it is much more important than any other online related marketing posts I have ever made. As I was trying to browse warrior forum today I came across a post made by Mike Filsaime of Butterfly Marketing. Knowing his reputation in the internet world I checked on the thread and read all the way to the last post.

It is nothing about any online marketing although it is posted in the warrior forum. It is about a 15 year old girl who is suffering a Hodgkins Disease Cancer and who needs help for her medication and expenses.  In this times of hardships for the family, money is not  just the help we can offer to them. Prayers and other means to spread the word about this is a great help also and thru this post I am hoping that this would reach out to others who will be kind enough to help them as well in whatsoever way.

I never know Mike Filsaime personally but knowing his reputation online I never question the sincerity of his post reaching out for help. Indeed he is somebody with a golden heart for doing this to somebody like Macy Johns.

What Is Hodgkin’s Disease

Hodgkin’s lymphoma, also known as Hodgkin’s Disease, is a type of lymphoma (cancer originating from a type of white blood cells called lymphocytes). It was named after Thomas Hodgkin, who first described abnormalities in the lymph system in 1832.

Hodgkin’s lymphoma is characterized by the orderly spread of disease from one lymph node group to another, and by the development of systemic symptoms with advanced disease. The disease is characterized by the presence of Reed-Sternberg cells (RS cells) on microscopic examination. Hodgkin lymphoma was one of the first cancers which could be cured using radiation therapy and, later, it was one of the first to be cured by combination chemotherapy.

The disease occurrence shows two peaks: the first in young adulthood (age 15–35) and the second in those over 55 years old. The survival rate is generally 90% or higher when the disease is detected during early stages, making it one of the more curable forms of cancer.[2] Later-stage cancers, though, continue to show a significantly worse prognosis, underscoring the need to seek treatment as early as possible.[3]

Most patients who are able to be successfully treated (and thus enter remission,) generally go on and live long and normal lives, due to a remission success rate of 90% to 95% more
